Commercial releases

Lucie’s Potager – Stellar Advent

UX Designer & Marketing Lead

Lucie’s Potager is a Shop-Keeping Sim created by the Indie Studio Stellar Advent. This is the 2nd Major game by this studio and as  freelance Designer and Marketing lead I contributed to some of the game design elements such as the Quest systems and UX.

Belt it Out! – Ortum Games

UX Designer

Belt it out is a fast paced tetronimoes inspired puzzle game. Place conveyor belts down to move packages from 1 side of the warehouse to the other. As a Gameplay Designer I was responsible for balancing the high scores, Stars, Progression and UX .

2021 – 2022

Mumble: A Tumble in Time (Coming Soon)

UX Designer & Level Designer

For our Major production project and final hurrah of the year a team of 9 (myself included) created a fun stylized cartoon 3D platformer, reminiscent of our favourite childhood games. eg. Rachet and Clank, Spyro the dragon and Banjo Kazooie!

Wasteland Tactics

Lead Producer

Something I would consider to be a great learning experience for me was a unit of study called “Production for Clients” Our job was to build a vertical slice based off a brief and regular “client meetings.” This process I taught me about scope and how important deadlines are.

Final Fishing VR

UX Designer

Most of the Second Year at school was more focused on documentation and processes, however, we did get the opportunity to work on an awesome little VR game. The brief my team chose was a fishing game! I had a lot of fun creating an immersive environment.

Sponge Highway – Game Jam

Lead Producer

Sometimes you need to let your hair down and do something fun! The Adelaide Game Developers community hosted a small Game Jam and Together with Jamie Appleby my awesome 3D Artist friend, we decided to make a fun, High Impact super soaker of a game!

2021-2022

Deep Dive

Lead Producer

The Final production for 2021 was a larger team project. We decided to work with diegetic prompts and high immersion. Deep Dive is centred around repairing a broken submarine at the bottom of the ocean. we wanted to show off use of the HDPR in Unity, large scale creatures and interesting movement.

Santa’s Sweatshop – Game jam

UX Designer

Coming to the end of my first official year learning game dev, The Academy of Interactive Entertainment put on a Students-only Game Jam! We spent the weekend having too much sugar and learning to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.

Dungeon Dude

Solo project

Probably one of my favourite prototypes and again another great learning experience, This vertical slice involves procedural generated dungeons, character customisation, random loot drops and NPC’s to talk to! This work has inspired some of my later ideas

SamSam the Magic Man!

Solo project

Our first Level Design Fundamentals taught me a lot about pacing, beat maps and timelines for creating player flow states during your levels. Along with this prototype I created extensive documentation to justify the decisions made and iterative changes from block out to final submission
